Background

  • The CEO of Fikkan Pharma has more than 20 years of experience in various executive and leadership roles in the international pharma- and med-tech industry. He was running the Japan region for GE Healthcare Medical Diagnostics for 10 years – a role including building infrastructure on the ground while optimising the business through Strategic Alliance and JV structures. He  had full P&L responsibiltiy for a $600m business.

     

  • Jan has also been running the global R&D operations in GE Healthcare Life Sciences with project/portfolio teams in UK, USA and Norway. Jan left GE in Oct 2014 as the President for the 900 employee Norwegian organization.

     

  • Jan has since 2014 acted in capacities such as Chairman of the Board, Director of the Board, Head of Business Development and business advisor for a large number of early stage healthcare and life-science companies
